The Counter - Los Angeles

After visiting the La Brea Tar Pits and seeing the mammoths, I was craving a burger. I love a well-made burger, and this one definitely hit the spot. It was customizable with a variety of sauces, and it quickly became one of my favorites. The beef patty was flavorful and cooked perfectly to my liking, and the Brioche bun was delicious. The sweet potato fries that came with it were also cooked perfectly. Overall, a top-notch meal. Definitely recommend checking it out!

My friend and I were originally planning to go to a restaurant next door, but were asked to leave because they were closing soon. We then considered going to the La Brea Tar Pits to continue our business discussion, but I decided against it. Instead, we ended up at Brass Horns for a light meal and to continue our conversation. We sat outside at 7 pm. My friend opted not to order, while I decided to try something new since I had never eaten at this restaurant before. Being a vegetarian, I chose a veggie burger.

This was my first time visiting The Counter. A friend invited us to join him after helping him move some boxes, so we all worked up an appetite. I was pleased to see that they had Topo Chico sparkling water from Mexico on the drinks menu, which is one of my favorite sparkling waters. We ordered the Fifty Fifty Combo Bowl with sweet potato bootstring fries for the table, which was a great start to the meal. I ordered the grilled mahi mahi salad, and all of the greens were very fresh. The mahi mahi was perfectly grilled and still juicy, not dry or overcooked. Our friend ordered the kale salad, which featured delicate baby kale greens and looked delicious. The portions were just right for hungry adults. The service was excellent and gracious. Thank you for the hospitality!

Smiling waitress are always a good indication. Wondering which is the impossible burger, but what was possible was to have a nice lunch and affordable with sweet potatoes very tasty

A pricey, but delicious and customizable burger place with easy access to the La Brea Tar Pits. The location was clean and had an excellent atmosphere as well. A great option for anyone in the area.
