Contribuiți la feedbackThe restaurant had a mix of a trendy lounge and an affordable neighborhood sushi bar, but the combination was not successful for those seeking a pleasant ambiance and a fun night out. The service was inconsistent and poorly timed, with appetizers and entrees arriving together. The food itself was lackluster, with inedible oysters, unimpressive sushi rolls, and underwhelming black rice. Overall, a disappointing dining experience.
I had passed by this restaurant several times and was always curious about it. The ambiance is nice and the menu is very appealing, offering a wider variety than many sushi restaurants. Unfortunately, the food was average. We tried the spicy tuna tempura roll, yellowtail, salmon and scallop sushi, basic udon, the salmon mango avocado dish, and the ponzu Hamachi. Everything was plated nicely but did not quite meet our expectations in terms of flavor. For the price, I would prefer to go to Sugarfish. We likely will not be returning.
This is my second visit to Slow Fish and once again I had a wonderful meal. The last time I dined there, I had the Sushi combo for dinner. However, this time I was informed that the sushi combo is actually served during lunch, not dinner. I was a bit confused, considering I had it for dinner before. It turns out that for dinner, they only serve California rolls. Despite the mix-up in the menu labeling, I still enjoyed my meal and will definitely return in the future.
Half elegant lounge like restaurant and half cheap neighborhood sushi bar. The combination does not work especially if you are looking for beautiful ambience and a fun night out. The service was uneven and was not well kept with appetizers and entrees at the same time. Why? And in the end, the food was not so good. Oysters were not possible. Sushi rolls didn't really work. The famous black rice was nothing special. Altogether only a disappointing experience.
I often went from this place and was always intrigued. It is well designed and its menu very tempting, and offers much more variety than many sushi places. The food was just okay. We had the spicy tuna tempoura roll, yellow tail, salmon and scallop sushi, basic Udon, the salmon / mango / avocado dish and the Ponzu Hamachi and over everything was nicely plated, but simply did not hit the brand in terms of taste. At the price, I would go to sugar fish every day. We probably won't be back.
