Ruth's Chris Steak House Woodland Hills

To start, my companion and I were seated at a nice table for four, but they cleared away the previous diners' plates and left us with two old glasses of water, no ice, and no utensils—just a frustrating lack of attention. It took a significant amount of time to catch someone's eye to bring us utensils. After that, we felt anything but special, which is what you hope for at these pricey establishments. While the food was generally good, one of the potatoes had an enormous, inedible eye, and the other was smaller than the 8 oz filet. When dining here, you expect top-notch quality, but we didn't even receive the bare minimum. I’m saddened to have to remove this restaurant from my list of favorites. If you're going to charge premium prices, you need to provide premium service—and they fell short. I learned that Dearden (Olive Garden) bought them in May, which may explain the decline, or perhaps it’s just poor management not paying attention. Sadly, I'm saying goodbye to Ruth Chris.

The food here is outstanding! I picked up a takeout order, and it turned out to be an incredible meal—truly a fantastic dining experience! The sweet potato casserole with pecan crust should definitely come with a warning because it could easily become addictive!

The customer service was excellent, and the food was delicious as well. The atmosphere is dimly lit and perfect for a romantic setting.

Hopefully, the new restaurant has a better atmosphere. All in all, it was AWESOME!

Look out for a price fixed menu that is not widely publicized. Most of the food was hot but my shrimp was cold. Need more light, it's too dark. Service a bit slow and it was a Wednesday. We were there for a birthday.
