Roll Spot Sushi Desserts - Los Angeles

Wow! I used to think of this place as just a little hole in the wall. I would pass by it when I went to pick up lunch and always wanted to give it a try. One day, after getting my lunch, I decided to step inside and grabbed one of their business cards. When I asked my coworker if he had heard of this place, he mentioned that he had tried it and thought it was pretty good. The next day, I went there for lunch, and I have to say, I have no regrets. The food was fresh, and the portions were generous. I will definitely return to try more items from their menu. The inside of Roll Spot is clean, and the staff is very friendly.

First of all, this restaurant is Just like another fast food sushi restaurant. Taste of sushi is not bad to be honest, (not the dumplings) however the sitting was not comfortable, and there's no restrooms in the restaurant, nor the entire plaza across from it. Ridiculously, Not even the supermarket has a restroom. We had to run to the ramen restaurant located on the 3rd floor of the plaza and asked if they could let my son use their restroom, as a non-customer. Luckily they're very nice. Will not be back to this restaurant nor this plaza again.

I honestly wish I could give no stars, but that option isn't available. I don't understand why they charged me $6 for this tiny piece of cheesecake that looks more like a sample size. Is this a joke? It seriously feels like I'm being served just a small fraction of a cheesecake.

My daughter would give this place 100 stars instead of just 5. The staff is very friendly, and the poke bowl is incredibly flavorful and made with high-quality ingredients. The fish is beautiful, and the sauce and toppings are delicious. We would absolutely eat here again.

I really wanted to like this place. The prices are reasonable. The portions are generous. However, the food was tasteless and bland. I had the California roll and the Spicy Tuna roll. Both lacked any brightness or flavor. Also the wasabi and ginger were tightly rolled together and seemed un-fresh and pre-made long ago.
