Contribuiți la feedbackThe entire operation felt disorganized, with the same staff members juggling food preparation, manning the cash register, and getting orders ready, all at an agonizingly slow pace. There was only a small line of customers, so it wasn't like they were overwhelmed. One worker was painstakingly fixing orders, another was multitasking while talking, and the third seemed to be the only one truly working hard, while the last one ambled out from behind the counter looking like he would rather be anywhere else. Adding to the off-putting experience, when I placed my order, the cashier took my payment and disappeared into the back before I had even finished paying (using a card). I didn’t receive a receipt, and I assume he started my order and left me to finalize the payment, but that was it. Thankfully, the wait for my order wasn’t too long, as it appeared that some food was prepared in advance and simply left on a heater to keep warm. It’s not that the staff seemed unfriendly; it was more that they were disorganized, distracted, and clearly uncomfortable with providing good customer service. I genuinely hope they can turn things around for better customer experiences, infuse some energy into the place, and improve their staff coordination in processing orders efficiently. I won’t even get into my observations regarding the other customers or the quality of the food; however, it was concerning to see staff handling food without gloves or washing their hands in between. I doubt either they or I want me to elaborate further on that. I trust that they manage to pass health inspections, but that might just be a facade, with some cleanup happening only when inspectors are on their way.
Food was hot and ready pretty quickly, was able to put in an order for the Cajun turkey which Andres walked us through the process which made it a breeze. I would prefer an online option, but at least the pen paper process was okay. While waiting for my food he was able to work through a challenging guess and stuck to standard procedure when a guest misunderstood the situation.
I ordered the chicken sandwich, and I found it to have pretty good flavor for the price. However, the mac and cheese was not enjoyable at all; it was too dry. Sometimes it can be good, but it wasn't this time.
Absolutely one of the worst Popeyes EVER. Every time I go there they get the order wrong. I purchased the 12 pc habanero wings today and see what I got. REALLY????!!! Literally the size of a quarter. That is not a wing.Look at how black it is Change your frying oil more often. Not going back.
Dang it I should have read the YELP reviews before traumatizing myself with this horrible Popeyes location.. Let's start off with the restrooms. Their restrooms make the Metro Elevators look like a clean safe place. If that's not enough the portions that we received in our meals where scrawny .. the Cole slaw was half way filled and it was a small container to begin with. The chicken breast was smashed and I kept thinking it was a dried up chicken tender but it actually had a bone inside...the thigh looked like chicken wing. And the drum stick like a small egg roll..Now, I don't know if the munchkin at the counter thought is was funny to purposely give me the jankiest pieces but on top of all that he also had a very condescending tone and was rude. Why? It sure beats the **** of me lol.. The lesson here is do t get caught off guard YELP even is it a fast food joint..
