Froggy's - Los Angeles

Now open on Thursdays and Fridays from 5 PM to 10 PM! The food is excellent, and the location in the canyon is perfect for a date night. I'm really pleased to see that it's still in operation!

It's never a pleasant experience to get sick after a meal. The salmon certainly didn't taste right, and I couldn't bring myself to finish it. It had an overwhelmingly fishy flavor. As for the fries...

I haven't been there since between 2012 and 2014, but I still keep checking in hopes that it will reopen. It's a fascinating local spot with a rich history; it originally served as a schoolhouse in the 1920s and has since expanded with various additions. I've heard rumors that it was once owned by some well-known musicians from the late 60s and 70s. The atmosphere is nice and laid-back, with a friendly local vibe. I think I must have imagined experiencing music in the schoolhouse room with the fireplace, as it was such a perfect venue that I really wanted it to happen.

It deserves a 5-star rating when it's open, but unfortunately, it appears to be closed. We went out of our way to drive there since Google showed it was open, but the place was dark and shut. I've submitted a suggestion to update its status to "closed."
