Fred's 62 Cafe - Los Angeles

I would not come specifically for the vegan menu, but if you have a meal with omni friends, it has a sweet mood and the food is okay. Don't go out the way, but it's not a bad place to pop once in a while.

This late night diner has so many vegan options that cover all the kitchen. This could not guarantee the best dishes in all their records, but I will recommend the two things I ordered as I thought they were amazing! The impossible nachos came loaded with super melting cheese and piles of Guac everywhere. The portions of the Mediterranean plate were somewhat smaller than the nachos, which was good because I shared the dishes. You also have vegan milkshakes, rams, chicken pliers, grilled cheese sandwiches with diving soup, all I wish I could have tried!

They’ve tried in the last few years to add more vegan things to the menu but it doesn’t seem they know how to cook them. Everything is very amateur and under seasoned like a kid using a hot plate in their dorm with whatever canned ingredients are near by. Service wasn’t very good but it was a busy hour so won’t harp on that. Definitely won’t return or recommend this to anyone.

Love this place! we came for a private party, had the large terrace all to us, which was great. eating was great; can they say, points! our server was fantastic; young woman with red hair. thank you for making our party very special! and give me my best to fred!

Came here late after a funny night in el cid. we sat right away, we had a big one standing on the back. it was great that they had a few different vegan options. they do not use for their vegan meat options. we got vegan nachos, they had vegan cheese, meat, guacamole, pico and chips. they were so good! the vegan meat was really well cooked and perfectly seasoned. they were big enough to share two people. they also had a vegan burger on the menu and possibly a few more vegan options. the server were nice and the food came in time.
