Compagnon Wine Bistro - Los Angeles

The food is very VERY authentic. The atmosphere kind of brought me back to Manhattan NY. Small but well appointed space. Decent service. But it's all about the FOOD, right? They did NOT disappoint. Keep this one on your radar , folks!

My spouse and I celebrated our anniversary dinner at this restaurant and had an incredibly enjoyable experience. The food was superb and the staff was welcoming and friendly. We began our meal with the Tomato and Mustard Tart, which had a wonderful balance of flavors. I opted for the Beef Bourguignon while my wife chose the Duck Confit, both of which were simply outstanding. The restaurant also offered wine pairing recommendations for each dish, which we found to be very useful.

I was unable to personally dine at this restaurant, so I sent my wife in my place while I was tied up with work. Despite her arriving late by 30-45 minutes, the staff was very accommodating. I called ahead and they were able to greet her with a cold glass of champagne as soon as she sat down. The seafood was fantastic and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

Early Fathers Day dinner. Everything at this restaurant was perfection. Friendliness, service, attention to details, food, desserts, wine and lovely French ambiance. April, our server was great. We were guests of our Son and wife and will definitelybe returning for repeat visits. This place is a great addition to eating out options in San Pedro.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in downtown San Pedro. The service was attentive but not overbearing, and the food and wine options were excellent. While the menu is not extensive, the offerings were delicious. This is not traditional heavy cream sauce French cuisine, but rather flavorful dishes inspired by sidewalk bistros.
