Too loud to turn back with dining room partners. will not go back.

The personal and service in bavel was honestly the best I have ever experienced. mentioned I have a food allergy and the house manager personally came out with a paper menu and pointed out to emphasize what would and would not be safe for me to eat! he also explained their cooking processes and chances of cross-contamination for different menu items. I can't tell them how much that meant to me; and knowing that I might not have been seriously ill, made the dining room experience all the more pleasant. eating is divine! everything we ate felt new and the aromen and textures were charming and unexpected. we are still talking about the farmer's cheese, I would have died for everything I eat from here to eternality and happy! 100 stars. no notes. eat here, what are they waiting for next to an open reservation?

My wife and I visit long beach once a year for a mess. we always make our way to dtla to visit bavel. the food, ambiente and customer service is always excellent! last night was not taken. Our Go-to-Menu elements are the oyster mushroom kebab, lamb neck skin and roasted flower cabbage. they are cooked to perfection and are delicious mouthwater! the restaurant offers a many number of seating counters, terrace, high back bar area and standard seats. we love the wine selection that changes regularly and the open kitchen offers a unique atmosphere. the mixologist at the bar is cool to watch as they make handmade drinks. the bar area is our favorite seating area because they can see the kitchen and bar mixologist in action. we highly recommend this restaurant. make sure to visit opentable for reservations as it is super-popies and also on weekdays! the host are friendly and professional and the waiting staff is always amazing. I appreciate the call on the day before to confirm our reservation. Go on!

We got a round table in front of the bar (super small and uncomfortable). Our server forgot about our drinks. She offered us a dessert but we were still waiting for our drinks, so we realize she never even send them.

Incredible food as always. Wonderful service every step of the night. Some new dishes on the menu that are just as fantastic as the classics from the day Bavel opened. It’s rare that a restaurant can stay so delicious and so popular for this long in Los Angeles. I’m so happy for Bavel.
