Contribuiți la feedbackMy family and I live in Los Altos/Palo Alto and are weekly customers at the Long Bar. Great food, particularly the French onion soup best I've ever had. Love the free potato chip appetizers and great mousse dessert. My kids also love the popcorn (the hotel provides) on the way in. Initially the service was hit or miss with some bad experiences but we kept coming back for the amazing food. I provided some feedback about the service directly to the general manager Nader and he and his team went above and beyond to address it. Now the service is impeccable and it's great to see that there are many patrons that enjoy going to the restaurant on any given night. It is a rare treasure to find amazing restaurants at an unassuming Courtyard by Marriott catering primarily to an eclectic mishmash of business travelers, college sports teams, and senior home residents from down the street but this is definitely a treasure and one of my favorite restaurants in the Bay Area.Kid friendliness: I frequent here with my 1 year old and 3 year old boys. Always very friendly staff.
10 stars! I am reviewing only on the French onion soup but I'm sure the rest of the menu was great as well. I took one bite of the onion soup with the phantom Chardonnay and I felt like I could Drop the Mic and I'm done. Incredible ambience sitting outside next to the fire on a chilly fall night. I usually don't take pictures but this was picture worthy
Staff are really friendly and nice here at the restaurant inside/adjacent to the hotel. The servers allowed us to finish our food and drinks, even though they were getting ready to close. Drinks are strong, and food is okay, but the fire pits are wonderful and awesome!
This is a small but great bar as an extension of the lobby area. Properly situated and opening to a garden sitting area which is next to the pool... So all great. I enjoyed the time there.
We had the spicy Mac and cheese, cheesy garlic bread (nothing cheesey about it and tasted weird) and new England clam chowder (not that great either). For wine we went with Montepulciano (obviously good choice) and Malbec (so so). Overall experience was fine.Food: 3/5
