Stopped because of the big reviews and promised if you don't like you don't pay what could go wrong? We sat right away, chips and salsas quickly got out, but then nothing. Three more tables were set after us, all got... drinking and orders. Finally, our order was taken and then, while all others ended their meals we asked what is on. You must have forgotten our order. I ordered the Chili Releno and my husband got a beef chimichanga. My chili releno was in tomato sauce, which tasted delicious, I scratched all this and the rest was okay. I had a margarita that was not very good, obviously no fresh lime juice, so that was also disappointing. My men's meal said he was okay, but not great. And even if you don't like your food, you expect to pay anyway. I think they make prices depend on what you look like. $23 US for our meal. Wouldn't return.
A nice family owned and operated restaurant on a lively street downtown. The family is really kind and all work together to create a pleasant atmosphere. They start you off with chips and salsas while you wait for your meal. Salsa was fantastic. Fajitas, Omelettes,...and bean/rice platter were all quite good and the food comes out really fast. I liked it well enough to come back three times over the course of seven days.
Our go to place for lunch in Los Algodones Mexico. Great family business that appeals to locals and tourists alike. Looking forward to our next visit.
Had to wait for a table but the staff kept us informed about wait time and kept offering seats and water to drink while we waited. Food was excellent and filling. Homemade tortillas were warm and delicious. Not all staff spoke English but they quickly...found someone to answer questions. Will definitely return
