The staff was incredibly friendly, from the cashier to the chefs in the kitchen. The atmosphere was great, with lovely tables and cool wall decorations. And the food was even better than I expected! I will definitely be back!
On the second day of our visit to Los Alamos, my wife and I stopped in for lunch. I ordered the salmon and shrimp, while my wife enjoyed the slow-braised pork belly with goat cheese and tri-tip. They truly excel at cooking seafood; both the shrimp and salmon were perfectly cooked, not a bit overdone. Paired with the corn tortillas and sauce, it was delicious! The tri-tip was slightly overcooked, but still good. The pork belly could have used a bit more goat cheese, but the flavor was fantastic. None of the four tacos were over-seasoned or spicy, which I appreciated. If you prefer heavily seasoned dishes that mask the meat's flavor, this place might not be for you. The restaurant and restrooms were both very clean. Overall, it was a wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon!
This restaurant serves the best masa for their tortillas, thanks to their dedication to cultivating heirloom corn. They keep the ingredients simple, but everything is executed flawlessly. The chorizo, potato, and egg taco is exceptional, as is the pork belly. They also offer fantastic vegan options featuring cauliflower and mushrooms. Their selection of beer, cider, and wine is impressive as well. My dad attempted to visit on a Monday, but they were closed. However, on his return from LA, he picked up tacos and ribs, which were amazing! Conrad consistently excels in his craft. Even after relocating, he has maintained the same high standard. He's one of my favorite chefs in the taco scene—a true original—cooking with red oak like a master. Sending love from the Murphy Family—Conrad is truly remarkable!
This is the best food I've ever had! I promise you won't be disappointed with the meals here; they are truly incredible. The Pork Belly Tacos are absolutely amazing! The presentation of each dish, including the tacos, makes it feel like you're getting a great deal for what you pay. Despite that, I enjoy the food every single time!
ValleFresh is truly outstanding! They focus on using fresh, local ingredients, including handmade tortillas. When they say "fresh," they really mean it. The name ValleFresh reflects their commitment to sourcing from the valley. I had the chance to taste their tacos at a Yelp event, and I am completely hooked. The word "amazing" is often overused, but it absolutely applies here. Their BBQ chicken tacos, pork belly tacos, and cauliflower and veggie tacos are all incredible. The toppings, including shredded cabbage and lime and lemon wedges, complement the flavors perfectly, and their salsas are spot on. I'm excited to explore more of their menu. Plus, the staff was very cool and professional, representing the Central Coast with style and grace.
