Bob's Bodacious Bbq - Los Alamos

We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant! The food was fantastic, and it's a shame we were the only ones enjoying it. The highlight of our visit was the concert happening at Ashley Pond. The turkey was delicious, with a lovely smoky flavor and perfectly moist. The smoked potatoes stuffed with pulled pork were absolutely delightful, and the flavors weren't overwhelming. The pulled pork offered just the right amount of smokiness as well. The coleslaw was fresh and crunchy. Although the location is a bit off the beaten path, the extra travel time was definitely worth it!

Just a heads up: due to rising meat prices, they’ve increased their prices, but the menu doesn’t reflect this. We were a bit taken aback when we saw the total for our order. We spent $30 for two brisket sandwiches and two sodas, without any extras, pickles, or sides.

Had a 3 meat plate. smoked sausages were not bad, but tasted just like the kielbasa they get from the food business, just cooked something. brisket was so. that was a little better. no real distinction between the BBQ sauces. only had 2 bits of mac n cheese because it was so watery that I couldn't finish it. not worth the money at all.

I love barbecue and thought I would try. I was disappointed. food quality and taste was really nothing special in the average with the grill, sauce or side (beans and potato salad). I really wanted to find a good grill place to eat regularly, but I think I'm just going to keep looking.

I'm not sure what's happened to this place lately; it used to be fantastic. This is the second time I've been disappointed. I really don't understand why this dish was served—just look at it.
