À La Waffle - Los Alamitos

This is an awesome dessert place! Hands down one of the best in LA/OC. The waffles are light, airy, and not too sweet. Toppings are delicious! The vibe is very chill, and the owners make you feel at home. We come here regularly. Love that they are open late.

It's been several years since we been here and I wanted to add another review. I was reminded by my mother of how good this place was today. This says a lot coming from her because she is an extremely good cook/baker, naturally herself. She's been through a lot since we were here, beat cancer twice, had two major surgeries, and most recently had a stroke 2 years ago. It has been very touch n go with her and we are blessed that she has endured it all. She is on the mend now and in better spirits and made a point to remind me that we need to go back here because the Creme brûlée waffle is delicious! It's true, the waffle alone is so light, airy, crispy and obviously memorable after several years. I can't wait to be able to take mom back here as I know she will be excited. You know it's the simple things in life that can add joy to a person, so I'm glad this place exists. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to not a whole lot of waffle flavor options available but hopefully that will change one day. See you guys soon!

Amazing service! Great dessert waffles! The rocky road afogato was amazing!!! Went there to celebrate my nephews 15th birthday since he was born on national waffle day. The owner was there working the register and answered our million questions and was so kind. They brought our orders out to us on the patio and even helped us celebrate. Love this place and will be back

First time customers, but will be returning customers. My sons ordered creme brulee, cookies and cream, and I ordered strawberry shortcake. Everything was great. Next time, though, I will order without icecream. I want to enjoy the waffle without the coldness of icecream. The waffle is so light and Krispy (love it). We took our order to go. The lady that took our order was so friendly. Even though it was raining, she told us we can wait the car, and she will bring the order to our car. Great customer service!

Cutest damn owner and super cute place to have coffee with your sweetheart late at night. Gorgeous vibe, I could sit here and drink coffee and eat cinnamon rolls for hours. Make the trip.
