Qdos Arts Centre - LORNE

Had a lovely lunch here with friends, recommend my salt and pepper calamari! The pizzas looked good too! A very pleasant lunch amidst the bush tranquil setting. The service was practically non existent thou. Prices were mid range.

We discovered this unique art center in the mountains one afternoon and throughly enjoyed it The outdoor sculptures are uniquely situated tucked away amongst the beautiful trees. The cafe is run by a delightful person by the name of Jill. Stop by for lunch or just a sweet and enjoy a cup of camomile tea with lavender as we did. Loved everything about it. Unique and interesting.

Situated in the hills above Lorne, this is a perfect serene setting for a lovely lunch or coffee. Excellent service & delicious food .... there are different exhibitions regularly, which makes every visit a new experience. Recommend

The surrounds of the Qdos cafe are amazing. The tall leafy trees typical of the area are utilised beautifully around the outdoor settings of the cafe. We visited here on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed a delicious quinoa salad. The place was alive with customers with no one under the age of 50. Unfortunately the cliental set the vibe of the cafe to a sophisticated and exclusive level which was a shame. Another disappointment was the art around the garden was all dusty and covered in cobwebs, usually I wouldn't think anything of this but some artist is trying to sell their work for $3000 at your gallery and you can't even give it a brush down. Perfect place for a coffee and dining experience if you are over 50 from Melbourne.
