El caloron - Loreto

We returned here for lunch today and once again we were very happy with the fish and shrimp tacos, the ice cold beer and margaritas and the very pleasant servers. Low prices and great food. Best in Loreto which has a lot of good places...to eat. I could eat there daily.

We had the tostadas and ceviche both very tasty and a great value. easy to find on the malecon and speedy service. great view of the sea of cortez while you eat.

I had a little trouble finding this place as it is upstairs and the name is not clearly marked. Also, maps took me to the wrong place. Found with google maps. Right on the malicon. The food was great for the price as were the...margaritas!

Although this is in no case fine eating, they have a wonderful selection of fresh seafood, including fresh mushes, which is a speciality in loreto. we went after a day of diving. very good service overall and everything we ordered was very good, and the fried oktopus was a tasty bite. decent bar options, with good michaeladas, clamatos, etc. definitiw recommend this restaurant for something fresh and mexcian, and has a great view.

I ordered three tacos. pulpo, callo especial and . this place was recommended by my diving captain. I will say the best tacos of the trip. add a very tasty margarita and they are set for a 5-star meal. that is...not the place where they find tourist looking for an American meal in mexiko. this is the place where they find seafood tacos that make them smile because they are not getting better.
