Contribuiți la feedbackReservations were made for people but the restaurant was totally unprepared to serve us. The table was set but that’s as far as they got. We waited minutes to get a drink and minutes for food, when it came everyone’s dinner was...warm at best, some totally cold, my chicken was dry and over cooked. One member of the group even went next door to get an ice cream cone to hold him over as service was so slow! If we hadn’t been part of a group and there at the group leader’s recommendation, we would have walked out. We were surprised that even though we could not get drinks, or FOOD, people were still lining up outside. It must have had a good recommendation in the past but we were all sorely disappointed.
A lovely setting and good restaurant we went back a second time during our visit having had a great experience the first time, but the service was very slow during our second visit and the food took ages to arrive even though we...had pre ordered. The food, when it came was good.
Orlando's is unequivocally the best restaurant in the heart of Loreto. That being said, my husband Brian and I have been frequent guests for nearly a decade and each time we've dined here our expectations are surpassed. With this in mind, Eddie, Lalo, Francisco and...Gustavo are the most genuine, attentive and professional waiters. They all go out of their way to make your experience more comfortable and enjoyable. In like manner, the Margarita's are a knock out and splendidly crafted to emulate the colors of the Sea of Cortez. over, the cuisine is exceptional! Notably, we love the Chiles Rellenos, Cheese Enchiladas, Coconut Shrimp and Cilantro Filet of Fish. At times, Orlando's will offer regional dishes from mainland Mexico which are savory and succulent, so don't forget to inquire with one of your waiter's. We salivated over and devoured the Molcajete Mixto with beef, chicken and shrimp from Jalisco which was absolutely incredible. An artist's palette of colors! Switching gears, one of our favorite dishes when we're in the mood for a lighter fare is the traditional Tortilla Soup coupled with an array of delectable Salsa's and mouthwatering Guacamole with hand made Totopos! All things considered, we adore this charming, friendly and festive eatery and you will too! Sabrosísimo! Ali and Brian
The service was incredible. Our server, Addy, kept in touch and made great suggestions. The place is casual, safe (all wearing masks during COVID) and friendly. We had the special- lobster chili rellanos. WOW! Would definitely go back.
I had the Arrachera (traditional flank steak). It was cooked perfect, and had wonderful flavors cooked in. Service was very good, everything was clean and the presentation was great!
