Longview Steakhouse

Four of us took the extra long journey from canmore to the restaurant, including the dusty smith dorrien. that strongbow cider will surely meet the point in order to meet the other two families in our group of 10. owen fits beautifully in the...high chair. cocktails were delicious, hubby commented on his beautiful campari 'n soda. sam has the most joyful personality and he took time to make sure that we all ordered in detail, each of the 8 different escapes. how the cook/the chefin manages to cook every single entree to absolute perfection and present it so beautiful is beyond me! altman and sam looked after us, keep water glasses filled, etc. we brought two bottles of the vicar wein and it was the $18.95 corkage per bottle to drink. we also pampered ourselves in at least 5-6 desserts, but I just wish that a famous longview cinnamon roll was one of the choices I would have taken a home. the owner took a family photo for us from the enclosed balcony. the journey to home over hwy 40 was magical, as rarely do I drive it in the dawn.

Of this restaurant belongs to many people. finally had the chance to go and wow> the food, the intentional and the atmosphere were absolutely the best. it is not too often that you can cut a steak with a fork!

The reservations are booked for months and now I know why! by far the best steak that I had in any restaurant! however, based on the comments of our group, each single plate here is excellent, hard to choose only one. family-run restaurant, they have excellent wait...staff they are great to suggest wein or drink pairings with their eating the trip is pleasant and peaceful, the view of the restaurant is beautiful and ordering the next one, everything looked amazingly they leave

That was our first visit in this restaurant. it won't be our last. the food was incredible and adapted the service and the view. the atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and very welcoming. I would highly recommend visiting here!

I had heard a few years ago about the Longview Steak House and had been anxious to try it. Last night was our first visit. What an exceptional experience! From Sam, our witty and engaging server to Karim, the extraordinarily talented man behind the food,...every aspect of this dining experience was incredible. I tried the seared Atlantic scallops, asparagus and green curry soup followed by the indescribable ribeye shrimp entree. I can't recall a dining experience I enjoyed more. Looking very forward to our return in March.
