Contribuiți la feedbackWe were a group of eight, who were there because it seemed like a good place. Well, I can't say that any of us were impressed, or plan on going back. The sushi was not too bad, but, definitely not worth the price, for this place. I have to agree with other customers that say that the staff is not too pleasant. You always seem to be bothering them. It was more of a (hi, what do you want) type of approach. I am positive that they must have some employees that are wonderful, but, they were not on staff that day, that's for sure. We didn't leave any of the food, realizing that sushi is an expensive food to throw out (although this one was probably not too expensive to make, considering that the ingredients didn't seem all too fresh). While we were waiting, our wonderful waiter with the attitude problem, was in a corner, texting on his cell phone. The owners should install cameras, and maybe then, their employees would have a change in attitude.
Went to SP for dinner for the first time. It's a all you can eat but server bring food to the table. Good selection of sushis, and others asian food. Service was slow, food wasn't hot. We had a great time anyway, it was late and restaurant wasn't too crowded.
Pros: easy parking as it is at the mall, okay ambience and service.Cons: food are sub-par, overpriced.Coming from GTA where good quality Japanese restaurants are many, Sushi Palace just would not have stood a chance surviving in Toronto, as the price is too steep. But that's not the worst, the food are really below average for that sort of price. Lots of food are pretty tasteless and stale. Not recommended!!
I went on a Sunday to this restaurant with a group of friends, we reserved for 15, but the table was set for 11.The server was not specially nice, was like in a hurry, and with a not in a good mood, (the restaurant was almost empty) the food was ok, is 25$ for all you can eat, he complained because we order too much (we eat all),when they give you the bill, they tell you that the tip is include. I paid 9.99$ for a beer, my bill was 40$ plus 6,46 for the tip, that you HAVE to pay, one girl leave early and he didn't pay it all, the server complain to us.....why i'm obligated to pay a big tip for a bad service, I though that was the client chioce, not an obligation.I don't recommend it, sure you find something better somewhere else
We celebrated my daughter-in-laws birthday, we were 22 people. It was very expensive as on top of the $33 PP we were charged a 15% mandatory tip which does not encourage the waiters to give good service. We were two adults and two teenage girls, we had one beer and no soft drinks and the bill was $175 !!!
