Contribuiți la feedbackI found out about Toi Sun buffet restaurant through the online platform Top Menu, where restaurant owners can advertise their establishments and offer deals such as discount coupons. Toi Sun has a great selection on their menu and they have discount coupons available for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I highly recommend trying out their buffet.
I went to Toi-Sun buffet for brunch on a Saturday at 11:30, which is their opening time. There were plenty of options to choose from. I started with a shrimp salad, which required some effort to peel the shrimp, but it was worth it as they were delicious. I passed on the soup and opted for the beef and broccoli main dish, along with fried rice and sweet and sour spare ribs. The ribs were flavorful and meaty, while my friend enjoyed the frog legs. I also tried the crispy chicken drumstick, which was very good. For dessert, there was a wide variety including ice cream, fruits, jello, and a chocolate fountain that I dipped banana pieces, pineapple, honey dew, cantaloupe, and marshmallows in. I left feeling satisfied but there were also options like cakes and cookies available. Coffee, tea, and juice cost extra, but for $11.95, it was a great deal for a weekend brunch. I've learned to watch my portion sizes after years of overeating, so it's nice to indulge occasionally at Toi-Sun buffet, which is one of the best in the south Shore. I've also been there for the Saturday night supper buffet, which has even more choices and offers a free meal for the birthday person with a paying guest. Overall, there are some items I don't care for, but with so many choices, one will never go hungry.
This restaurant is excellent and offers a great selection for everyone. My girlfriend also agreed that it was the best buffet we've been to so far. It's also a bit cheaper than other places. I love seafood and have been to every buffet around Montreal, but this one had the best crab, sushi, shrimp, etc. Surprisingly, I found this place by accident after taking a wrong turn leaving LaRonde and ending up in Longueuil. This is now my new favorite buffet. You must try it!
Charged is for extra refills without telling us. All the food tasted like it had been sitting out for a long time. Even though food quality and service wasn't good I was going to leave a small tip but decided not to when seeing they had charged us for an extra refill without telling us. After waitress saw no tip on the credit card receipt she tried embarrass sayin it out loud even though she had not checked the table to see if we left one there. Never going back even if it was free.
Excellent variety of Chinese & American dishes plus salads & fabulous desserts with chocolate fountain
