Contribuiți la feedbackThe service was excellent, with a friendly waiter named Alain who frequently refilled our glasses with ice water and checked on us to see if we needed anything. The food was delicious and served hot. We appreciated that they asked for our vaccination passports and IDs upon entry. Overall, a great experience.
We were in need of a delicious steak dinner, so we decided to try Baton Rouge, a Steakhouse that claimed to serve great steaks. Despite the high price, we ordered some fine steaks, but unfortunately, they were tough and sinewy. Overall, we were very disappointed with the experience.
One goes to a restaurant not only for food but also to change atmosphere and to relax. I took a single friend of mine there on boxing day and arrived before him. I will give some leeway to the manager because he may have been tired. I was not greeted by him and he passed me on to a waitress. We then had a very pleasant but inattentive waiter: no bread, no additional extra napkins for the ribs and no ketchup or mayonnaise with the fries: you had to ask for all these.The 10-oz ribs were succulent though. This is midrange chain that is overpriced for the quality they serve, but somehow people keep coming.
I ordered a steak that was very disappointing. The steak had no flavor at all. I normally enjoy eating at Baton Rouge, but the quality seems to have declined recently.
2 people went there for Father's Day supper. We were seated immediately and told of everything on the menu that was not available which were mostly lobster dishes. It was not what they had that was highlighted, but rather what they did not have We placed our order of crab cakes with an all dressed baked potato, and prime rib, rare, with a plain baked potato. Crab cakes were great but the all dressed potato was mildly lukewarm and toppings were hard and sticky. Prime rib was well done (not rare) and baked potato was cool. The butter would not melt when put on top. For dessert, creme brulé was ordered and after 10 minutes, we were told they had none. This is the second time we have noticed a decline in food and service. So disappointed. We will have to travel further in future to eat at another Baton Rouge location.
