Malee Thai - Longmont

I love that almost any item on the menu can be made vegan. My meal was tasty but could have used more sauce. They were also a little stingy with the rice on our order. We had it delivered through Doordash and if two people ordered the same rice they only gave one container for them to share. I would order again but use a pickup option or just go there to eat.

My favorite Thai spot in Broomfield was closed so I tried Malee Thai. It was just ok. I like that they label vegan items; it takes out the guesswork. The Thai Spicy Basil with tofu was ok. It lacked flavor and spice. Vegan spring rolls were just ok. I paid for extra sauce and it was half full. I’m peeved by stingy portions. It was fine, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

My recent visit was very disappointing. They were out of a bunch of things. The server didn’t know whether items had fish sauce or not. We waited at least 20 Minutes just for appetizers to come out. We ordered Tom Kha and were served Tom Yum. The dining room was cold. Overall a pretty not great experience. When the owners are serving, they are knowledgeable and friendly. The Caucasian woman server is not very knowledgeable about the food or the vegan options.

Vegetarian and Vegan friendly! It was wonderful to go to Malee Thai and have most of the menu to choose from. The food is fresh and flavorful. They cook the vegetables just right so they are cooked but crunchy. They deep fry the tofu now unless you ask them not and it's kind of squishy now when pan fried. The portion sizes are much smaller than they used to be so the value isn't there anymore. This is a good place to eat healthy, fresh vegetarian or vegan food when you want a night out if you're not really hungry. I appreciate that nearly every item on the menu can be made vegan. My meal was delicious, but I wish there had been more sauce. They also skimped a bit on the rice with our order. We had it delivered through DoorDash, and even though two people ordered the same rice, they provided only one container to share. I would definitely order again, but I think I would opt for pickup or dine in next time.
