Lunada Eatery Cantina - Longmont

I'm really disappointed. After a long day at work, I was looking forward to enjoying some delicious birria tacos, but what I received was far from that. The tacos were soggy, likely due to being left in an uncovered sauce container. There wasn’t a single ounce of cheese, and they were drenched beyond belief. This was my first time ordering from here, and it will probably be my last. When I called to inquire, I was told that they don't include cheese in their birria tacos and that I should have checked an old menu or website while placing my order. However, the description clearly stated that they included grilled cheese. They really need to update their menu.

Fantastic restaurant! It’s incredibly clean and has a lovely atmosphere. The food and drinks were outstanding. The staff is very friendly, yet unobtrusive, which made for a pleasant experience. They kept an attentive eye on us without being intrusive. The birria tacos were especially amazing!

While waiting for my car to be washed, I decided to grab some lunch. I'm definitely planning to return to this spot. My partner ordered the enchiladas with red sauce, and the sauce was fantastic. I had the stuffed poblano, which was equally delicious—very fresh and unique. It wasn't what I expected at all, but it turned out to be even better than I could have imagined. They've only been open for a few months and could really use some support. Give this place a try—you'll be glad you did!

Tried lunada for the first time this weekend and we were all impressed. the ambiente was simple, but clean and beautiful. it also felt spacious and for a relatiw small place. our server was very friendly and attentive. the food was excellent. our party of three had chicken Fajitas, crispy fishtacos and pozole. they were all really fantastic. the accents for the fajitas were delicious, cold and fresh, especially the guacamole that was great. we'll be back.

I'm guessing they were just understaffed but the service was quite odd. No hostess and when we found someone the person we found was quite socially awkward. Wouldn't look at us and didn't ask if we wanted anything. Ordering anything was like pulling teeth. The food was okay but the service and the communication were odd and slow. We were 1 of 2 tables so I'm not sure if we just showed up at the wrong time or what the deal was. I don't think I'll try this place again.
