Highly recommend dropping in here for a bite to eat and a margarita.. Hefe's being the second restaurant from owners of The Roost down the street (off Main) in Longmont. Everything is non-gmo and like The Roost, they use only the best, freshest, organic, (as farm-to-table as possible) ingredients. $1 street tacos on Tuesdays and a $4 coin style house marg. They put 10% of all profits from food, bar and catering towards funding adoptions. I have eaten great Mexican food for years and certainly, the gold standard outside Mexico is Rick Bayless restaurants in Chicago. However, Jefe's Tacos and Tequila could not get better. Taco Tuesday features street tacos (chicken, beef, or pork for $1 (small taco . ONE US DOLLAR! My sister and I shared two premium draft beers, one premium margarita, guacamole and chips, and 6 street tacos for $26. If you like HOT I mean really blow your face off hot go to the bar and ask for Ryan. He has some additives for your salsa that will do the trick. He also has some off menu items, such as infused tequila and fermented hot sauce samples. Many of the plates are made from locally sourced ingredients a nice touch indeed. The wait staff is busting butt so when you get great food at a discount (Tuesday remember to tip accordingly. I cannot think of anything to improve this place and I look forward to the opening in Boulder so we don't have to drive 12 miles. : We will be regulars.

My Longmont massage therapist at Blue Skies Massage recommended I come here after my appointment for Taco Tuesday. Oh man—so freaking yummy! The queso is to die for. The $1 street tacos on Tuesday (duh are awesome, made only more awesome by spreading some queso on them. Friendly environment. Yummy food. You can order as little or as much as you want, so you never leave bloated (unless of course that’s your goal . Reasonable prices. Nice waitstaff. Yummy food. (Just needs some cushions on wooden benches for us bony-asses out there. You won’t be disappointed. You’re welcome!

I had my birthday here, and I never been here before. I loved it so much, the waitress was very nice and attentive, the atmosphere is awesome and fun, and the food is amazing!! Can't beat happy hour. Best place to go for outings and to get tasty tacos. The chocolate cake was good too
