Keenans Bar Restaurant - Longford

Been a few times. It is a nice place for an evenings hang-out or a Sunday meal. Food is homely and desserts are kick-ass. Compared to The Purple Onion next door it is real value for money and you can relax in a calm 'non up-tight ' atmosphere. Couple of T.V 's and a nice conservatory-type place to take your tea/coffee/beer/wine on a summer 's day. Lovely place.

Its an homely restaurant, clean and friendly ,the food pleasing enough,, I have one complaint the foreign waitresses especially one ,she has a habit of talking way to much when serving and lingering,other than that enjoyable will return .

This was the first pub we visited on our honeymoon in Ireland, where we enjoyed our very first Guinness in the country. The food was excellent and the service was prompt. Being a traditional Irish pub, it felt more authentic compared to some of the more touristy places we went to during our trip.

Located on the banks of the Shannon, it boasts a great setting, especially during the summer when the beer garden is perfect for enjoying the outdoors. The food here is flavorful and the portions are quite generous. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and they serve an excellent pint of Guinness. It's hard to leave this charming spot! I highly recommend Keenan's.
