The Rising Sun Inn - Longfield

We chose to stay at The Rising Sun on our way to Brands Hatch the next morning. The staff was friendly and the room was beautiful. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, the chef went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be returning next year. The staff greeted us very warmly and were extremely helpful. Service was excellent, and the location of the restaurant is top-notch. The hotel is a fantastic value and comes highly recommended.

Great bar that attracts guests from all over the area to sample their food. Good selection of beers and wines at a decent price. Set in a lovely little village but a bit out of the way so book a taxi to take you home. Service: 5 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value

We had a lovely stay at the Rising Sun! It's a very old building, so there are some quirks here and you can really tell the new management is working hard on updating some of the more run-down or out of date aspects. They were so nice and accommodating, making our stay feel really special. Aside from the cooked breakfast, all the food was simply amazing. They have a wide range to choose from and there's not much else to say than delicious. Finally, the area is absolutely beautiful. There's tons to do between 10-20 minutes away by car, and driving down the road to get there is very impressive. It's not a good place to stay if you don't have a car though, as there aren't any pavements along the roads.
