Great bar that attracts guests from all over the area to sample their food. Good selection of beers and wines at a decent price. Set in a lovely little village but a bit out of the way so book a taxi to take you home. Service: 5 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value

We had a lovely stay at the Rising Sun! It's a very old building, so there are some quirks here and you can really tell the new management is working hard on updating some of the more run-down or out of date aspects. They were so nice and accommodating, making our stay feel really special. Aside from the cooked breakfast, all the food was simply amazing. They have a wide range to choose from and there's not much else to say than delicious. Finally, the area is absolutely beautiful. There's tons to do between 10-20 minutes away by car, and driving down the road to get there is very impressive. It's not a good place to stay if you don't have a car though, as there aren't any pavements along the roads.

Popped in for a Sunday lunch, all I can say is fabulous!!! All the staff were polite and attentive. The lunch it's self was one of the best we've had, plenty of food and hot the wife loved the rolled lamb shoulder. I know this place had a bad name but it's really changed. We will be back. We visited the Inn for late lunch after being let-down locally by another establishment. There were 18 in our party and the looked after us admirably. Food drinks: The food was wholesome and delicious. Service: 5
