Unique location by the road leading to the Mont d'Or, the local summit that culminates at c. 1,460 meters (don't miss the view! . The restaurant serves local products (sausage, ham etc. and the food is simple and rustic but enjoyable. Great terrace (partly shaded with a view. Fairly inexpensive. Highly recommended subject to good weather.

Great location fro a good Family meal with a menu that reflects the countryside. the terrace seating was perfect for our two families with both being able to sit together with ease. It is one of my favourite locations on the Mont D'Or and the service was as always very good with our server being able to help our friends in English.

Dropped in here after a walk around the top of Mont D'Or, and we were pleasantly surprised that this was not a tourist rip-off place (given the location). It was a beautifully warm and sunny day so we sat on the terrace and watched the ravens, buzzards and cows. The menu is simple offering the usual local specialities, and we both had mushroom crustini to start which were very flavourful, followed by Morteau salad (not ambitious with the salad, but very pleasant) and tarte Myrtille. Portions were a good size, service was friendly and efficient, and the toilets were clean.

We spent a wonderful time in this idyllic setting. The interior decoration is very warm, just like the welcome on our arrival. The staff is smiling, the service is efficient. The plates are generous and filled with wonderful products! If you want to discover, rediscover or simply enjoy local dishes you are in the right place! I recommend this place, however, think to reserve because the place inside is limited.
