Contribuiți la feedbackThis place is quickly becoming my favorite Italian restaurant in NYC. The food is fantastic, the pizzas are unique and inventive. Apps and drinks are also very good. The staff is always friendly and the location is quiet and very tastefully designed. Great place for dates and get-togethers.
NYC now has an abundance of good, Neapolitan-style pizzerie, thanks to all the Italian pizzaioli and chefs opening places here over the past decade or so. Luzzo’s is a welcome addition, and one of the best I’ve tried. The 12 inch pies are exactly the right size for one person and they’re expertly made—dough, tomato, cheese and other toppings first-rate. My two dining companions enjoyed their pasta—tagliolini with seafood, one of which was made with tagliolini al nero. Service was efficient, attentive, and friendly and thankfully the decibel level was low, unlike at some other pizzerie I could mention (Song e Napule in Manhattan, for example). Reasonably priced wines (by the glass and bottle) went well with the pizza and I enjoyed an amaro del Capo as my digestivo. All in all,a very enjoyable experience. We’ll be back.
Another fantastic experience at Luzzo’s! We enjoyed the bruschetta, white wine, pasta special with shrimp and white pizza. And of course the lemon cello sorbet for dessert, very light and refreshing. We highly recommend Luzzo’s. The outdoor dining is lovely at night.
Food, quality and service absolutely outstanding. I had pizza and it was really like being in Italy.
Server messed up our order but was very nice about it. My kids spilled a drink and we were left to fend for ourselves. The food was delicious though and ambiance was great. Probably a great date spot.
