Levante - Long Island City

LEVANTE LIC has been a longstanding establishment, but I only recently discovered it a couple of months ago. What a hidden gem it turned out to be. The bar is impressive, offering exceptional cocktails. The highlight, however, is the freshly cooked PIZZA in the wood-fire oven on display. We ordered a white pizza with Burrata and grilled octopus, and it was absolutely delicious. The menu offers a variety of tempting options. We visited on a weekday evening and the restaurant was not too busy. I will definitely be returning!

The restaurant may look small from the outside, but inside, it beautifully blends modern and rustic styles creating an elegant atmosphere. With a pizza oven in the back, stylish illumination, a welcoming bar, and enticing smells of delicious food, it's a charming combination. Every dish we tried was delicious, including the sweet treats. We will definitely be returning!

Come here for the pizza and drinks. the pizza was some of the best we've had in LIC, and the drinks were shockingly good. their focaccia that comes with your meal is also really solid. the ambiance is great, and it's definitely a gem in LIC with how muchseating there is! the octopus was also delicious- tender and with highlighted with subtle flavors. i thought the ragu pasta wasokay (a bit too heavy), but not worth ordering considering how good everything else was.

The dining experience was a combination of good and not-so-good. The standout dishes were the pizza and the efficient service. On the downside, the pasta with duck arrived cold, and the serving sizes were small compared to the price.
