Delicious spreads. I've boughten them multiple times at the Farmer's Markets in ATX. Best options are the spicy tzatziki and black bean hummus. Kefir balls are tasty as well. Could do without the basil dip. I'm happy to support small business but $8 for the smallest tub of dip is a bit outrageous. Not something I would buy weekly but tasty nonetheless
I love it, everything is very tasty, they make lemon and garlic chips, they make hummus, salads, yogurts and everything is very good, clean and of good quality
These vendors are actively and purposely misleading the public. Many products do not have any ingredient list whatsoever. When I try to inquire about the ingredients or where they get them from or whether they make them, they're very vague in their answers. Most, if not all of their products are simply purchased off the shelf at restaurant supply stores and repackaged.Do not be fooled by their presence at the farmer's market because they don't actually buy anything from any of the farmers. It's one thing to sell foods with not the best of ingredients that one hasn't made yourself, but it's a whole lot worse to then pretend like it's high quality food and actively lie about it.Furthermore, I've tried asking different people working there, the same questions regarding where it's made and the ingredients, and get different answers completely from different people. One question that's particularly eye opening to ask them is about their pita bread. I asked them where it was from and how they made it and they said that it was made at a bakery and that they could not disclose the name of the bakery and that the full list of ingredients was listed but clearly it is not because this bread lasts weeks outside the refrigerator without molding so it definitely has preservatives in it.
I bought two yogurts at my local farmers market. It is delicious! I’m baffled by the ingredients though and have been searching to find out how they make this stuff. The kefir I have had is not very sweet. This yogurt is VERY sweet and tastes like eating ice cream. Yet the ingredients only say “kefir cheese, blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries.” There has to be sugar of some kind in here.
