Wood Salt Tavern - Long Beach

Very crowded dining atmosphere , food was moderate lacked a lot of flavor/seasoning . Nothing that stood out made me want to come back. Smelled like cigarettes the whole time I was here .

This is a must visit spot in LB. The food and cocktails were only surpassed by the service. We had the whole grilled branzino, whiskey braised short rib, spaghetti carbonara, grilled ceasar salad, pistachio cheesecake, tiramisu, barrel aged manhattan, and the margaritas. We can’t wait to come back and order the rest of the menu.Bart was our server and he was everything you could ever hope for a server to be. Absolutely fantastic at his job.We’ll be back for sure.

This place is really great! They have happy hour on Friday evenings which is pretty rare 20% off apps (lots of yummy unique ones to choose from), beer, wine, and well cocktails. Portions are generous! Decor is cool and location is great too!

Both brunch and dinner are very good! The service is excellent and the pasta is so so good.
