Sushi Daddy - Long Beach

First timer here. I tried daddy’s quadruple special for $35. Comes with 4 rolls with complimentary edamame and 4 sauces. Where can you get 4 rolls for $35 nowadays? The box it came in was super cute. Had a wood design

Sushi Daddy is also Poké Daddy, and hails from a complex I 'm not sure many have actually visited, but know of in the ubereats/postmates/doordash world. Finding reviews for Poké Daddy was difficult, so my order was half a mystery however postmates had a BOGO deal and my stomach was screaming. One issue I had was that the entire BOGO order had to be an exact replica of the first. So, I ordered a small poke with double tuna, and added my toppings. If the pricing is the same for proteins (excluding the premium ones), why isn 't it an option to mix it up so it 's truly a deal for someone other than yourself? Say you 're treating your friend to Poké too, and they want salmon (same protein price), you 'd have to have that as the first bowl. So... BOGO mirroring is kinda ehh. BUT it worked for me when I went, well, two bowls for one price... Is this portion control? Yes, yes it was. The small bowl with two scoops of tuna is cute. I think their scooper is a child 's scooper. So if you regularly eat Poké, two scoops is a normal one. But heeeey portion control! The delivery packaging is cute, they may miss the sauces you pay for, but just keep your fridge stocked.

Don't eat here! I would give it zero stars! The presentation was nice but I ended up getting severe food poisoning last night from this place. Based on the reviews a few others got warm not quality good sushi. I was puking all night sorry for graphics but I don't ever want to eat sushi again .

If you are a sushi LOVER. Don't waste your money. The avocado was totally rotten, the fish itself tasted off the rolls quality was subpar. I never leave bad reviews, but this was EMBARRASSING. We ate a bite each and couldn't stomach anymore. If they are okay garnishing with rotten foods, I can't imagine what else is inside. Step up your game please.....

My veggie rolls were great and came in the cute little box as pictured. I thought the price was great for the amount in the dish. I've ordered twice and both times there were no issues with my food. I think some of these reviews are more reflective of the separate delivery service rather than the restaurant. Great sushi.
