Secret Island - Long Beach

Had a reservation through Opendoor and they didn’t have it when we showed up. After waiting for 20 mins and a party left they gave us the table. Waitress was ending her shift and forgot our drinks twice but didn’t forget to close us out and return twice for the sign check while we still waited on drinks. Ambience was cool. More of a stop for one drink kinda of place but not the destination for the night.

Really bad experience with staff. they were unprofessional and rude, barely came by our table. we came for a special occasion and that occasion did not feel special at all by the way we were treated. made reservations over a week in advance and we still didn’t even get a booth and had to basically beg for one while the staff just walked around our table ignoring us. it was extremely hot in there and when we told the staff, they just agreed with us while we sat there sweating.

Waited 20 minutes for waiter after being seated and 20 more minutes of waiting for drinks and decided to not wait anymore so we left so we never got to taste anything.we drove from Fresno after seeing secret island online ,it was a real shame we put so much effort to the business and didn't get the same in return .

Awful service. Bland food. Overpriced small drinks.
