Panera Bread - Long Beach

The food here is fantastic! The management is excellent, and they have a zero-tolerance policy for unruly individuals. The police patrol the area every morning, ensuring a safe environment.

I visited Panera around 7:30 PM to buy a baguette, but they tried to sell me one that was a day and a half old. When I requested a freshly baked baguette from today, they informed me that those were reserved for sale the next day. I don't understand this reasoning; the best bread should always be the freshest.

The classic combination of tomato soup and grilled cheese was just what I needed. The restaurant has plenty of seating and a bright, inviting atmosphere.

GM doesn’t want to work with people. Sounded upset that I wanted to spend $200 on a bagels and coffee for a team event. Needed it for early morning but said they had 2 orders already and nothing we can do. Never asked what I needed or if there wiggle room. Just said “that’s why the app said 7am and not 630am, we have orders and there’s nothing I can do. 5am is the earliest my cook can come in.” Worked in the restaurant business 10 years. I’d never turn down a $200 order for coffee and bagels. Just saying. Panera last time I try to order from your business.

Double check your Togo orders. I order 3 dozen cookie boxes and when I got to my lunch meeting, I was short one box!! Ended up with people having to half cookies… I couldn’t believe it when I showed up. It was too late to go back and complain but when I tried to call Panera no one answered, I was stuck on ring and then a Hangup. No voicemail or anything.
