Fuji Sushi Hibachi - Long Beach

I was in (almost) every sushi bar on this whole mississippi golf coast and fuji has the best prices from all. they can get a whole roll for as little as $5; each roll consists of 6 to 8 pieces sushi. now they have more pricier (sushi) rolls, but the quality of their food is just as good and consistent as other sushi restaurants. and if they are like me, and like to enjoy their sushi with going, wasabi and sojasauce, then fuji is the best choice when it comes to deciding what sushi bar in this opposite.

Food was great. Didn't try the sushi. Hibachi was not for show, they cook it in the back. The service was excellent, very attentive. The cook and server both came out several times to make sure we were satisfied with the food. Portions were large for the hibachi meals. The meals were a bit pricey (family of 5 was about 120 this included the Japanese sodas at $3.50 each. Overall, we enjoyed our visit, everyone left fat and happy.

Been eating here a lot the last year since moving back from Minnesota and I always have amazing experience with them. The staff are really friendly. The restaurant is really clean when I come in to eat. My favorite place for sushi and Yakisoba.

My family and I have been eating here since they opened, I cannot believe it has taken me this long to write a review! They are awesome! Great food and really nice portion sizes, they have good prices too! I always recommend Fuji to my friends and family that visit! The employees are a pleasure to interact with as well.

Ordered lunch to go and had the tuna and crab stick poke bowl with fried calamari. They called and said they were out of calamari. I said no problem and they replaced it with a yellowfin tuna roll. The seaweed salad, tuna, crab stick, and roll were all sour and slimy. We ate one bite of each thing. The meal was $42.I brought the meal back to them for a refund since the food had turned. They refused the refund. I just think it was an all around bad experience. Shame because it used to be so good…
