My favorite drink is Jasmin milk tea, and cafe horchata, excellent service.
Lots of choices. Split cup is a great idea and not too many places have it. I had a jasmine milk tea with boba and it was the best boba I’ve ever had. Jasmine tea was less floral than 7 leaves, but really good.
Finally got to try Zero Express and it did not disappoint! There's a Zero Degrees near my house but because it's in such a busy plaza I almost never have the opportunity to try it. When I finally had the chance to stop by the shop in Long Beach, I took it and ran with it. My boyfriend ordered the house coffee which is a Vietnamese-style cold brew with 2 sizes. The flavor is very rich and the overall quality and flavor is amazing. I opted for the ube milkshake which was pretty pricey at $5.50 but came with a cute little sour belt candy, toasted marshmallow, and rainbow marshmallow twist. The boba was incredibly sweet and soft, indicating its freshness, and the ube was equally amazing. Overall loved this drink! One thing I like about Zero Express is that you can order two drinks in one if you're having trouble choosing one or the other. My only gripe is that there are certain drinks that are excluded from this option like the ube which really disappoints me because I was hoping to try the mangonada as well... I guess that just means I have to come back! I wish that their mason jars weren't so expensive cuz I really wanted to buy one, but it is an option for you as well. Not sure if you can bring it back to the shop like Snow Monster but if you could then that's pretty cool!
The restaurant offers an intriguing blend of Vietnamese coffee and Horchata. The first sip is fantastic, but the drink loses its appeal soon after. However, that doesn't mean I didn't like it - I did. The popcorn chicken was delicious, with a satisfying crunch and great flavor. Service can be a bit slow at times, but that's to be expected given its popularity and proximity to CSULB.
