Carve - Londonderry

Fantastic meal! Three of us split the porterhouse with Bernaise sauce, the onion strings and creamed spinach. All were amazing! Yummy crème brûlée, cocktails and reasonably (for a restaurant) priced Orin Swift wine. Our waiter, Moses was really fabulous, attentive and funny. We will be back!

Unfortunately not a good experience. Ordered a cheeseburger which was good but the rest was not ketchup was strange and fries weee soggy. Service was great but you'll be sorry. Not much else on The mountain.

Dinner choices are minimal. No Kids menu. Over priced food. The extra sauce they ask if you want cost an extra $8 and they don't tell you before ordering. They did bring Maple bread to table with a dipping sauce which was excellent. Stratton is a ski destination for Families and it's disappointing there is no children's choices on the menu. They did offer Pasta with marinara but I do not consider that a kids menu. Also no one answers the phone at the restaurant.

Thrilled to see that Verde was replaced by an excellent fine dining establishment. Food and service weee great, and the wine list was first class (and there are good values! . Stefan runs a tight ship. We will return many tiered this ski season. I'm

The manager at the desk was lovely and the server very good. The brussel sprouts salad was clean and light. My husband had the duck special which he said was very good. I had the pasta which was very bland and really lacked any flavor. The inside is just like Verde was but they added drapes which really do not belong and block the view of the village. Overall, it was fine but expensive for what it is. Good to have another option at the base.
