Under The Volcano - London

We always have a great experience at Under the Volcano! The last couple of times we have been there we have had an excellent server, Andrew! Thanks for making this a fun destination for dinner for my family and I.

After eating here just once two years prior, we returned to enjoy this wonderful take on Mexican food again and were not disappointed. The staff were wonderful and the food both filling and delicious. Food was served hot, and as ordered, with additional hot sauce available, and well-prepared sides.

My husband Ruben, my sister Ingrid and her daughter Stephanie and I visited UTV for the first time in 2 years. It was wonderful! The colours, the decorations, and the overall atmosphere are just beautiful. The staff was super friendly. I had the Flaming Shrimp, Ruben had the paella, and the two girls had their favorite quesadillas. We had forgotten how delicious the food always was there. Also, we asked for extra salsa because we are scoopers, not dippers and it was cheerfully provided by Lili, the smiling owner. And those chips, mhmhmh.For sure Ruben and I will be back soon, and my sister will stop in to pick up some chips and salsa to take home with her all the way to Georgia. Have eaten at the Volcano for a lot of years. When I went Gluten-free several years ago, eating out became a challenge. I was so pleased that not only are the staff well-educated about gluten, they actively assist the choices making process. Bravo!

We had a Saturday lunch here, and it was fine, though nothing really blew us away. The due breakfast/brunch on the weekends. We were able to order both breakfast and lunch items. The service was good, the food pretty good, but I would like to come back for dinner to get the full experience. This looks like a place that could make a good margarita...
