The River Room Cafe Private Dining

We’ve been to brunch multiple times and it never disappoints. Options are often changing everything we’ve had is delicious. They also have kids servings, which is great. Prices are reasonable brunch comes with a drink. We’ve had mimosas in the past more recently, delicious virgin caesars. Their dinner was also delicious. Location is great- Beautiful views overlooking the river you can browse the gallery after if it’s open. Our go-to place for brunch or a nice meal out.

The atmosphere in this place is clean and bright. Actually overlooks the crossroads in front of the river, not directly over the river. They were a bit understaffed the morning mum n I went for brunch; there were no drink refill or water refill opportunities. The food was good, but weirdly hard to eat? Hard to cut into the over-toasted English muffin under the Benny, hard to eat the crispy potato thing under the salmon plate. I was unsure if I should use utensils or not (seems like you should in a fancy place but was kindof difficult). It was definitely tasty but sharp on the mouth. Weird experience.

We were a table of 20 celebrating a birthday. The whole experience was wonderful. Starting with the ambiance, bright and sunny.Our servers were friendly and professional. Our table looked amazing.The food excellent and plentiful, choice of drinks and excellent coffee.Kudos to the chef and servers for getting all of our diverse plates out at once.Afterwards a stroll through the gallery and plenty of space to sit and chat before we headed home.Thank you for my memorable 75th birthday!

We were celebrating personal accomplishments of our daughter and wanted a quiet, relaxed evening with good food, great service and a pleasant ambiance and The River Room met and exceeded everything. We each choose a different entrée from the menu. There were lots of options to suit individual taste and the outcome was beyond delicious. The wine list was not extensive but the chardonnay I ordered was perfect. The service was relaxed but not tardy, helpful and professional. The room was calm and the view lovely. We will definitely book this restaurant again! Thank you for a most delightful evening.

The view of the park and river is among the finest in London. The brunch is beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The service was very attentive.
