Swiss Chalet Rotisserie & Grill

Food is good, evidence that management is trying to reduce costs by removing some of the perks that made it unique (e.g. stopping providing dishes for cleaning hands after eating) Food is consistently quite good, chicken portions vary in size, sometimes a nice size, other times the chicken seems to small to leave home

Because it's on the pricey side I don't get swiss chalet a lot but normally I love it...new to London and tried the one closest to me on Highbury...well I waited half an hour and I ordered the quarter white dinner for take out...if you like the wing like I do you would have been disappointed with what I got...burnt to a crisp..needless to say the rest was dried out..not impressed.

This doesn't seem to be a very busy location of the brand, but that didn't deter us from stopping as we paid a brief visit to London recently. We only ordered garden salads and French fries which came in sizable helpings. Everything was fresh and the fries were pleasantly hot. Service was very friendly and our server looked in on us at appropriate intervals to make sure we had all we required. We would eat here again if in the vicinity.

We used to go to Swiss Chalet only now and again because they had a rather limited menu, only chicken for the most part. It was always delicious but you don't want chicken every day. About a year or so ago they added roast beef to their menu and we've had it maybe 3 times now. It's absolutely fantastic. The last time we went they had a special to get the chicken and roast beef together and I don't remember the last time I've had such a delicious meal. The roast beef is mouthwatering. We will go back as often as we can.

We stopped in there for dinner on a Monday night. The restaurant was fairly busy but our server was prompt and accurate. He constantly asked how our dinner was but was not invasive. The food was good and the half chicken dinner I ordered was plenty and filling.
