Cora Breakfast & Lunch - London

Food was fast and fresh , service was very nice and prompt no waiting . very good spot . we will return again here for sure

I had breakfast at Cora's with my wife. I had a western omelette very thin, flat and spread out on the plate not folded. likely two eggs only only a sprinkling of ham and cheese was $1.50 extra! My wife had a breakfast wrap That was also light on ingredients. Both meals were heavy with oil. and VERY EXPENSIVE! Add two coffee's at $3.25 a piece and you have a $47.00 Breakfast. Cora's used to be great a few years ago meals were great complimented with a decent bowl of fruit. They are giving waaaaaay less value and charging a much higher price. This was our last time.

My family got together for a brunch meal. We were pleased with the hostess who checked our covid vaccine/IDs. After that, it was all downhill. The waiter pretty much ignored us. When he finally came and we ordered drinks, took 15 minutes to get the drinks ,which was supposed to include 4 waters. He brought 3, using the excuse the dish pit was running slow. It was another 15 minutes before he returned to take our order. After ordering we waited almost 25 minutes for the food. I understand the restaurant was busy but when people who were seated after us are getting their food ahead of us, it makes me wonder. When the food came, we were sincerely disappointed. My daughter order the crepe dogs. In the photo in the menu it looks like two full size hot dogs wrapped in crepes. Actually, it came as 1 hot dog, sliced in two, with processed cheese slice on each and overcooked bacon. The hashbrowns, if you can call them that, were burnt on one side and undercooked on the other side. The hollandaise sauce was thick and tasted weird. 4 out of 5 people in my group got sick within hours of eating here. Last time we will ever visit this establishment.

One of our family favorites because menu is so varied from Nutella crepes to smoked salmon bagel with fresh fruit. Friendly staff. One star taken away because coffee was off this visit, a little burnt tasting and waitress forgot to bring our group two new additional cups (not refills) ordered half way through the meal. Ambience is bright and cheerful, but not too noisy.

My husband and I had very little time between appointments so decided to see if Cora’s could deliver a lunch on short notice. They aced the test and went out of their to deliver delicious lunch/brunch meals. The food was delicious, I had the spinach, cheese omelette and my husband had a waffle with bananas on top. We will definitely make another stop next time in London, we were embarrassed that in our rush to leave my husband made an error in calculating the tip, grossly under tipping our servers. The service was excellent!
