Bernies Bar & Grill - London

The food was very tasty, the service much better than the last time we were there. The server recommended a couple of different dishes as well as told us the specials. A great burger!!

Came here for the breakfast buffet on a Sunday morning. We arrived around 10am and liked that it wasn't very busy yet. We were seated right away in a booth across from the buffet area.Coffee wasn't hot, we'd read this in other reviews prior to going so weren't expecting much.Buffet was decent for the price. Food was good and hot. Lots of salad choices which weren't entirely appealing in the morning but would be nice for those later on having brunch.I don't eat pork so the meat selection was limited, was pleased however to find that they offered roast beef. Service was just decent. We waited awhile for the cheque and for the waitress to come around with the debit machine. Washrooms are clean.We would return.

We have drove by this restaurant a number of times and thought we should stop in and never have until now. There were long waiting lists at other bar & grill type restaurants that night so we thought why not try it. We were seated right away, asked what we would like to drink and given our menus. The wine selection was small but adequate for us and the menu selections are huge...so many different items. My husband had dry rub wings which he said were good and fries of the frozen variety, like many restaurants, not fresh cut. I had an item called Smothered Chicken which came with a soup or salad and choice of potato/rice etc. It was a butterflied chicken breast covered with their Bernie's BBQ sauce, sauteed onions and fresh mushrooms, real bacon bits and a melted cheese blend. This item is served with fresh vegetables that were cooked just right. It was absolutely delicious! Our waitress was also very good. We will go back again!

Took my wife to this Bernie's location for Mother's Day breakfast/brunch. Although the restaurant was only a quarter full, we were seated on the other side from where the food and the customers were. When we asked why we were told it was because there were only 2 of us, and that was the only 2 seat table. Apparently, they need all these other tables for reservations, although there were no 'Reserved' signs. We tried to move to one of these tables but were told we had to go back to our table. We should have walked out then. We got some food, which was okay at best, and went to our lonely table. The coffee was cold and undrinkable. A supervisor came by and asked us how everything was so we told her we didn't like being seating all alone on the other side of the restaurant. We got nothing but attitude from her. When we left the restaurant, it was still only half full with lots of empty booths. They could have seated us there quite easily. Only saving grace was that our server was very nice, but that's not enough to make us go back.

Tried the Sunday brunch yesterday salads were interesting pan of scrambled eggs but they disappeared half an hour before 2:00 when the buffet was suppose to be open till salads ran out and were not renewed same with the deserts I would have been nice to have an omelet station but that probably would have run out also. Maybe had I arrived earlier there would have been more food but I did get there 1 & 1/2 hours before it was advertised to be on till
