Contribuiți la feedbackWe stopped at this restaurant while waiting for our flight, and it was a pleasant experience. My husband and I spent about two hours here enjoying sushi, drinks, and chicken wings. The sushi comes around on a conveyor belt, with each plate color-coded to indicate the price, ranging from $2.70 to $8.60. We ordered the sushi lovers platter and kimchee wings, as well as edamame, beer, and rose. Our first order seemed to have been overlooked, but we were able to order using a QR code and the server promptly brought it to us after I inquired about it. The manager even came to apologize for the delay and comped our edamame. The service was excellent, despite being a bit slow, but it wasn't a big issue for us since we had plenty of time to spare.
I went to Yo! To Go and only tried the hot rice dish. I was really hungry and craving something Asian, but wanted a small portion. I initially considered getting sushi, but their sushi poke bowls were too big, so I ended up ordering the Chicken Firecracker Rice for £7. They also had wasabi, ginger, and soy sauce packets available for you to add to your meal. The portion size was small but perfect for a snack, and it satisfied my craving for Asian food after not having any while traveling. The dish might lack vegetables, but I added extra wasabi and ginger for more flavor. It was lightly seasoned with soy sauce and served quickly. Overall, I was very hungry and the food hit the spot. I would definitely order it again when at LHR.
If you're getting takeout, make sure to request a fresh tray. Customers were seen opening the plastic and handling the food before putting it back. This is airport sushi, so expectations are not high and they are met. It's a busy atmosphere, being an airport, but the staff allows customers to cut in line and lacks organization. The sushi was decent, but I wouldn't recommend trying the sashimi or any other raw dishes from the takeout section, as some appeared old and had been touched by dirty fingers.
Keitan sushi at London Heathrow Terminal 3? Wha?? Nicer sitting at a counter with a bottomless cup of hot tea, an order of edamame, and trays of sushi wandering by that one can ogle or partake of, than sitting with the crowds waiting for the gate info. Ambience not the best (did I mention it's in a terminal), and the sushi is expensive and kinda meh, but the alternatives are not nearly as good. So here you find me!
My little family were on a layover in London from Paris to Los Angeles. Traveling with a toddler can be hectic and honestly, we were tired and starving at this point. We scoped the terminal for what's appetizing and Yo! caught our eyes the most. We were hesitant to do take away or do a sit down since our daughter was sleeping in her stroller and we had carryons with us. Luckily, our server named Justin was able to sit us down comfortably. See video. What a relief! I loved their decors! It felt like I was about to dig in with street foods and sushi! In my opinion, you can't go wrong with Asian food : We're familiar with revolving sushi so we grabbed our plates right away. So happy! See pics. Overall, I'd rate the food 4/5. Shoutout to our server, Justin! He made our first experience with Yo! an excellent one. He's friendly and professional. He even explained the menu very well. I highly recommend trying this restaurant. Don't expect fancy. They get very busy obviously. People are in a rush being at a terminal airport and all.
