The restaurant is under new management, and so far so good. manager is pleasant and helpful and eating is good. the prices are then cheaper than the prices of their predecessor. will go back

In every way a delight. Attentive knowledgeable service. Food prepared with love, skill and artistry. Comforting and authentic. A no frills Italian with old fashioned elegance. And on our doorstep.

I attended a wine tasting event with a special menu. It was informative and enjoyable, but it would have been even better if there were more people from the local area.

We bought a two course dinner and wine for two on Groupon for my husbands birthday and I had booked a table ahead of time. Upon arrival staff were extremely rude and made it clear they had no reservation despite me booking and getting a confirmation email. Aside from that we were told we could stay. We had our new born with us in the push chair and despite the restaurant being completely empty of customers inside we were directed to a table right at the opened doors with the draft and cigarette smoke wafting in. When we asked to change tables the waitress was quite flippant. We couldn't fault the food, it was a tasty meal, however the service was poor and staff were very unfriendly. Would have expected much more after reading such exemplary ratings online. I don't think we would go again, as a dining experience isn't just about the food, it's about the welcome you get and the kind of service you receive
