The Tapestry Tapas - London

The Tapestry just opposite Mortlake Green, easy to park after 630pm, very friendly and welcoming staff, immediately liked it and knew we were in for a treat on reading the very varied menu. Beautiful choise of main meals, however, we had come for Tapas and good quality well prepared and served Tapas we had. Very child friendly and an ideal place to let your hair down and relax. Highly recomend you give it a try, we are so glad we did. Looking forward to seeing you again soon, thanks for a great evening.

We had a lovely time at the Tapestry, delicious food, friendly staff, nice wine, outstanding desserts. Our one minor gripe was that the waitress unfortunately slightly mixed up our order, we didn't want to complain though, especially as what they brought instead was probably more tasty. Would (and will) recommend.

We went for mothers day lunch and found that they had a very limited set menu, a mothers day special. The choice was limited and no price details. The quality of the food was okay but for two main courses and two drinks the total bill came to £80 which I think is very high for a roast dinner and a sea bass! Not likely to return

Booked to take "MUM "and our children for Mothers Day lunch and was not disappointed. I was looking forward to tapas but given the special occasion a set menu was in order which had a great variety and the food was very good indeed for children and adults. Staff were very friendly but not overly so. Unfortunately the service went a bit wayward when the place got busy but there were some particular demanding people around us that were quite frankly rude and disruptive to the staff. Wine list is a bit limited but it covered all the bases and was very well priced. All in all one of the better special occasion lunches we 've had and was a great improvement over other more expensive establishments in the West London area.

It's very easy to recommend The Tapestry. We held a post funeral gathering for about 20 people there and the service from initial enquiry to completion was first rate. Food interesting and very good. Venue and atmosphere excellent. Lucia and her staff attentive and engaging. Lot's of favourable comments from our guests.
