The Mayfair Chippy Minories - London

Found one of the BEST FISH CHIPS IN LONDON!!!!! Their beer batter fish is super crispy yet not heavy and their chips are crispy outside and super moist inside and sweet...!! We are so happy that we found a new Fish and Chips favourite in town. We tried their CLASSIC and Special Order of Fish and Chips. CLASSIC comes with tartar, mushy peas and delicious curry sauce I chose soft Cod over Haddock. Special order, comes with tartar, allows us to select our fish from more variety and my friend chose 'PLAICE' which was super moist and soft!! I think this 'PLAICE' beer batter crispy Fish and Chips is the best choice! Their beer batter is not heavy maybe because they use a good oil or fresh oil, or they change their oil very often. We would like to try their intriguing desserts next time at which we could not reach this time because their quantity of Fish and Chips was generous.

Food was good. Cafe sort of style. Way too pricy for what it is, and 10 service charge was added at the end of the bill, bit of ask as it’s just fish chips. I’d go again if someone else was paying

This is the second time that I visited this restaurant. my first culinary experience was fantastic when I ordered a cod and chips. this time, I wanted to snuggle with Indian flavors and it was amazing. from now on, this is my perfect place for lunch.

Just there for the week end. Coming from Bordeaux. Outstanding Fish and chips. I’ll come back next time in London with my family.

Brilliant venue...amazing food...quality wine.....and excellent service....what more could you ask for?
