The Artisan Bistro - London

We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant! The food and drinks were carefully chosen and well prepared. The background music set the perfect ambiance. I was especially impressed by the owner, who made a point to personally interact with all customers. They were very friendly but did not intrude on our meal. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Very nice restaurant, but customers lack good food with good service and beautiful people

Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant on Valentine's Day was extremely disappointing. It was our first time dining there and we were excited to take my wife out for a special evening. However, it turned out to be the worst dining experience we have ever had at a high-end restaurant (or any restaurant for that matter!). The service was poor, with one server being extremely rude and inconsiderate. It took over an hour for us to receive the first course of our Valentine's Day meal, and after two hours we decided to leave as the experience was not worth the wait. The owner tried to make amends by apologizing, but it was clear that the service was not up to par. Despite our concerns, the bill was reduced after we raised the issue. My wife later contacted the owner to express her disappointment, and he offered us a free meal if we were to return.

We chose the 4 courses 4 matching wine option, actually turned out as 2 glasses white, 1 red, 1 wein champagne and a cocktail, all for only 30 £ per person. absolute bargain price in a beautiful restaurant with eating that was really delicious. only negatiw would be that the service was somewhat slow, although this was not much of a problem, as it allowed us to enjoy every single wine choice, maybe have an additional waiter/dining on when the restaurant is full. would recommend, amazed what we receive for such a relatiw small price

Terrible experience. Took an hour to get the meal from the appetizer. Took nearly as long to get dessert. Took forever to get the bill and even longer to then pay the bill with a credit card. It felt like the restaurant was woefully understaffed with two people in the front of house. We heard other tables complaining so it wasn't just us. Soup was undersalted and the fish was way too salty. The crumble was poor. Don't understand why this restaurant was highly rated.
