STRONGROOM BAR & KITCHEN - London

I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with Shoreditch. I love how it is always bursting with exciting new pop-ups and amazing restaurants. I appreciate the gritty charm in some places, as well as the creativity and history. However, despite all the positives, I can't overlook how much I dislike the train ride there.

The strongroom restaurant is conveniently located next to the music studio of the same name. There is always something happening here, making it the perfect spot to people-watch. They have a spacious beer garden and a wide variety of beers to choose from (I highly recommend the goose island IPA). The food is also delicious, especially the mac and cheese croquettes with a Jack Daniels smoke sauce. They are not greasy, with gooey melted cheese inside. While this is more of a casual dining experience rather than fine dining, the snacks are still top-notch.

My friend and I ate here last week. we had the ribs and a burger with chips and the chipotle mayonnaise that were all very good. they also have a large selection of beer (draf and bottle.) the place is somehow removed in the street, so they really need to look for him. the place is very eclectic on the inside that I really enjoyed. the staff is very nice and friendly all in everything but, a good visit, and we would eat there definitiw again!

Perfectly located in the heart of shoreditch (5 minutes to foot from old street tube station,) is the strong room hidden in a curtain street backyard. during sunny days is the perfect place to spend a whole afternoon after a great meal on the garden. In addition, there is a very large selection of bottle beer, especially belgien beiere like chimay, delirium (you can not miss it) or kriek the prices of the dishes are ok, and the portions are good. Strongroom's is to me one of the finest bars in the Shoreditch area. Located on the famous Curtain Road, this place has everything one needs. Here goes: good choice of beer, a lot of seating both upstairs and downstairs, a very large outside court populated with large tables (more seating), outside heating, a gig in its underground room every different night, a vibrant young clientele, a decent choice of food, varied/original music choices, nice barmen, etc. To summarise this all, Strongroom's is the ideal place for any kind of night.
