Souli - London

Best chocolate cookie I’ve had in years, marred by slightly burnt tasting coffee and somewhat cool service. Otherwise a great little place to watch the world go by!

We were looking for a meat-free lunch and found Souli. We each bought a ready-prepared salad in a plastic container: one with feta and one with salmon. My main complaint is that I would have preferred not to have eaten from a disposable plastic bowl. For all that the salads were fresh and had obviously been prepared that morning. They were tasty and healthy. Hot drinks rounded off the meal.

Lovely service and food. I realised when my food arrived I hadn’t read the menu properly and ordered food I don’t even like. I would have eaten it anyway but the lovely ladies couldn’t have been more accommodating in offering options! Lovely coffee and all round great experience.

Would not return to this cafe as there were no redeeming things. Bread was stale, staff unfriendly and seating uncomfortable (stools and hard benches with not enough random cushions to go around). One hot option for lunch per day. Not good enough Souli
