Awesome food here! Tried their signature dish which is Dolma, and it was just perfect! They serve a huge portions to the extent I couldn't finish it all. The meat was also very well cooked and delicious for a person who doesnt fancy meat at all. So thats a plus. Also, like many other restaurants, they serve a complementary soup at the beginning. Loved the food, the atmosphere and the staff were very kind and welcoming. The place is clean too. The loos were very well taken care of and hygienic. All in all, a sweet place to dine in. I am definitely coming back and will be taking my loved ones out here. Recommended

Took forever for the food to come- 45 mins! So not really ideal if you go with kids. We went in an hour before closing time so by the time the food came it was hastily eaten. The food in itself was tasty and authentic Iraqi but for the prices and the crazy wait time, I wouldn't recommend going there. Edgware Road has much more choice and at reasonable prices and better service anyday.

Amazing experiences at Samad Al Iraqi. We are the only non-Iraqi and the dishes are all so authentic. This is one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in London for sure. Come by and enjoy. Be careful about the potion of dishes. Very filling.

If you love middle eastern food Samad never disappoints. The food quality is absolutely great, generous portions and reasonable prices. However, it’s dodgy that upon two visits 4 weeks apart the card machine was broken and they only took cash, this makes question the credibility of the place. And we were not warned about this until we sat down and got the menus. Secondly, the service is not attentive and chaotic and all waiters, waitresses were in a terribly bad mood and it showed clearly throughout the whole experience. You’re expected to pay the service charge despite the bad service attitude.

Great Iraqi food experience. the lamb is a must that it melts in its mouth, so tender and tasteful. we wanted to order the traditional fish, but it takes 1.5 hours to order the customers in advance. love the flat brot is warm and fresh, goes so well with hummus. the lens scales on the house are also so delicious. the service is very efficient and the atmosphere is great, feels like being transported to Iraq to try the local cuisine. we're coming back.
